I had PET Scan on Monday and got the results today. Since some of you watch my videos and know me a little. (I have been in this community a few months now) I thought I would let everyone know what the results are and what will probably be happening going forwards.

For those who don't know, a PET Scan uses a special radioactive dye that attaches itself to the high levels of sugar used by cancerous cells and then they use a CT Scan to locate and map out the cancerous cells. (It takes about 30 minutes of scanning.) When you do this, you are considered radioactive for 6-8 hours after the procedure and have to stay out of public, and away from children and small animals.

My Oncologist said we will continue the treatment to kill off the Hodgkin's Lymphoma then, if the hot spot in my tongue base is still there, they will do a biopsy on it to see if they can determine exactly what is going on with it. If they can determine that, they can probably come up with a treatment for it. The problem ...
